Jane L. Wals is a photographer, artist, designer and educator.
For her thirteenth birthday gift, Jane received a small, simple camera from her parents and brother and from then on, she was hooked on photography. Over time, her photos continued to improve, as did her camera, yet she always remembers her first camera, the feeling she had when looking through the viewfinder and the excitement of seeing the printed photos. Now, Jane enjoys taking photographs close to home and while traveling near and far. She is inspired by vivid color, architectural details and vintage cars.
Jane earned her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Manhattanville College, with a focus in Art Education and concentrations in graphic design and special education. Jane earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University, majoring in Environmental Design/Interiors with a concentration in Art History.
Jane is always learning, reading, traveling and expanding her knowledge of art, architecture, design, art history, photography and cars.
Jane is dedicated to promoting the importance of art, design and photography in education while giving back to her community.
