Tom Acevedo is a New York-based figurative painter whose work examines spirituality, masculinity, and the inner life. Educated at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and shaped by a long career in decorative and mural painting, Acevedo creates emotionally resonant images that blend realism with symbolism.
Rooted in meditation and personal recovery, his paintings invite viewers to contemplate vulnerability, transformation, and the universal search for meaning.

I first encountered Tom’s work during the Covid period and was immediately drawn to the depth and sensitivity of his artistic vision. I continued following his journey over the years, and after opening the gallery, I had the pleasure of inviting him to participate in a group exhibitions. Since then, we have worked closely together, and it is with great enthusiasm that I present his first solo exhibition.
What I most admire about Tom’s paintings is the way he seamlessly blends realism with symbolism, translating deeply personal emotions into compelling visual narratives. The challenges and experiences depicted throughout the exhibition are brought to life with remarkable beauty and authenticity—stories that, in many ways, could belong to any of us.
